The origin of the Dogo Argentino was the region of Cordoba, Argentina. Dr. Antonio Nores Martinez created this breed in the 1920’s for the purpose of big game hunting. The FCI accepted this only Argentina breed in 1973.
The Dogo Argentino is a muscular, large and powerful hunting dog. Their all white short coat sets them apart for recognition. While their strength and athletic ability make them a great choice for hunting wild boar and puma.
This Argentinian breed is known to have become a very loyal companion and protector of their adopted family.
